“The Night Watch”
This is an original 1902 sepia photogravure of the famous 1642 oil painting by the Dutch Golden Age master artist, Rembrandt (1606-1669). Although commonly referred to as “The Night Watch,” it is also known as “Militia Company of District II under the Command of Captain Frans Banninck Cocq” or “The Shooting Company of Frans Banning Cocq and Willem van Ruytenburch”. Please note the plate impression and deckle edge along the bottom margin.

This 113+ year old Item is rated Very Fine +++. Light aging in margins. No creases. Some light surface rub. No tears. No water damage.
