This first-year flowering papyrus is native from central Europe to Western Asia. Grows well in dry to moist soil conditions, preferring full sun. If the plants are grown as a perennial, they start flowering in May and will continue to flower till December. If grown as an annual, the plant will start flowering later in the Summer to early Fall and continue to flower till frost.
This plant is a great cut-flower option.
